From October 31 to November 2, 2025, the 2025 4th International Conference on Frontiers of Traffic and Transportation Engineering (FTTE 2025) was successfully held in Guilin, China. The conference wassponsored by the Youth Science and Technology Workers Committee of the China Communications and Transportation Association and Guilin University of Electronic Technology, co-sponsored by the Gansu Province Transportation Association, School of Transportation at Lanzhou Jiaotong University, School of Automotive and Traffic Engineering at Hubei University of Arts and Science, and the editorial office of Digital Transportation and Safety, organized by the School of Architecture and Transportation Engineering at Guilin University of Electronic Technology and the Guangxi Key Laboratory of Intelligent Transportation.
The conference attracted nearly 200 experts and scholars from well-known universities and research institutions both at home and abroad, including Nanyang Technological University, Monash University, the University of Adelaide, Tsinghua University, Beihang University, Southeast University, and Tongji University. Centered on the theme of “Intelligent Transportation and Sustainable Development,” participants engaged in in-depth discussions on cutting-edge scientific issues and technological challenges in the transportation field through 5 plenary sessions, 60 oral presentations, and approximately 40 poster displays.
